SUZHOU, July 27, 2026 – Momenta has rolled out its Robovan business in Xiangcheng District, Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu Province, marking the latest real-world application of the company's proprietary World Model. The Robovan is already being deployed across express parcel routes even during nighttime, enabling round-the-clock, driverless logistics that close the critical "last mile" in urban supply chains.
Built on Momenta's R7 World Model, the Robovan leverages autonomous technologies that meet automotive-grade standards, delivering products and services with ultimate safety to the unmanned logistics industry. Notably, Momenta is among the early movers in the Robovan sector to adopt a "map-free" approach – a technology matured through years of mass production deployment in urban passenger vehicles. By eliminating the dependency on high-definition maps, the Robovan can be rolled out more rapidly while also lowering overall delivery costs.
Underpinning this leap is a massive data advantage: over 12 billion kilometers of real-world driving from production passenger vehicles equipped with Momenta's autonomous driving solutions, distilled into more than 100 million high-quality "golden" data segments. That rich feedback loop enables the Robovan to evolve faster, deliver smoother user experience, and drive meaningful gains in delivery productivity.
With large language models entering a maturation phase, the industry is turning to World Models as the next major growth frontier. Momenta launched its R7 World Model in production vehicles – a move the company describes as the "opening chapter of physical AI."
Looking further ahead, Momenta aims to build a foundational World Model platform that, with a single unified world model, will support scaled deployments across passenger cars, Robovan, Robotaxi, and Robotruck – and eventually extend into embodied intelligence and beyond.
