Honda and Momenta Partner to Advance Mass Production of End-to-End Assisted Driving Systems

With the automotive industry's transformation, intelligent technology is a key focus for global automakers. On April 23, at Auto Shanghai 2025, Honda announced a strategic partnership with Momenta. Together, we will develop mass-production-ready assisted driving solutions based on end-to-end models, aiming to accelerate full-scenario assisted driving in the Chinese market.

Honda, a global leader, has seen significant growth in China. As the industry shifts to electrification and smart tech, Honda is boosting investment in innovation to meet Chinese consumer needs.

In collaboration with Momenta, Honda has developed an assisted driving solution featuring functions such as highway navigation assistance, urban navigation assistance, automated parking assistance and memory-based valet parking.

Momenta is the first to introduce a mass-production-ready flywheel-based large model, integrating perception and planning into a unified end-to-end assisted driving solution.

The innovative data training architecture consists of a "long-term memory + short-term memory" hybrid model, resembling human "intuitive reasoning + logical analysis." This reduces training costs and addresses millions of long-tail scenarios effectively.

In complex and changing driving environments, this technology enhances safety, reliability and stability in assisted driving systems.

The partnership between Honda and Momenta marks a new stage in Honda's smart mobility strategy in China. As the collaboration progresses, it will offer consumers a safer and smarter driving experience.
